The end of May at the Agrokomplex exhibition center traditionally belongs to engineering and technology. From May 20 to 23, 2025, the 30th anniversary edition of the International Engineering Fair be held in Nitra. The exhibition halls will be filled with innovations from the world of machinery, welding, metallurgy, automation, and mechanization. Both professionals and the general public can also look forward to presentations of innovative projects from technical universities and colleges as part of the TECHFORUM exhibition.

Professional Accompanying Program

Visitors can look forward to a unique conference that will open the door to the future of industry, titled “From Digitalization to Sustainability: Industry of a New Generation.” The conference will take place on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, and will focus on key topics such as automation and robotics, digital security, and the digitalization and automation of production processes.

The International Engineering Fair will also feature the Slovak Association of Scientific and Technical Societies (ZSVTS), which will host an event themed “Challenges for Science and Technology in the Future.” The Association was founded in 1990, making this year the 35th anniversary of its modern existence.

To date, the Association comprises 44 member organizations—professional societies that bring together more than 20,000 members. ZSVTS and its member bodies organize over 400 professional and educational activities each year.

For the second time, the Slovak Championship in Simulated Welding will be held as part of the Fair. This event is organized in cooperation with ZSVTS, Agrokomplex, and the Slovak Welding Society.

On Wednesday, May 21, a professional seminar titled “Safety and Legislative Requirements for Machinery” will be held, organized by the Technical Inspection Authority. Its aim is to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the latest regulations, standards, and technical requirements related to production lines, robotic workstations, and other types of machinery.

The Engineering Fair will also include the 27th edition of the national conference ELECTRON, focused on inspection, design, maintenance, and assembly of electrical equipment.

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University of Košice will present an exhibition ranging from unique historical technological artifacts to modern collaborative systems in the field of mobility.

Also featured at the Fair will be the Slovak company DAITABLE, which helps businesses monitor where and how much electricity they are consuming in real time. With the aid of artificial intelligence, manufacturing managers can predict future consumption trends and assess potential negative impacts arising from energy usage.
