Impact of Lifestyle on Modern Housing

The twenty-ninth edition international fair Furniture and Living in Nitra is considered to be one of the most important Slovak events in the furniture industry. The modern times are characterized by a rapid development of technology and electronics and its use in all products that surround us. Things are not very different in furniture production and its products. The connection of technology and furniture into one single whole, which will be both purposeful and aesthetic, is labor-intensive for the designers and furniture manufacturers. The kitchen, bathroom and living room are turning into very demanding spaces in terms of design and comfort, but they also include some new elements that have an impact on our bodies and health.

The role of the seminars is to outline the ways to sensitively link the technology, design and healthy living and introduce the new technology into the furniture as a whole.

The seminars are also designed to acquaint the managers of the companies, designers and the general public with the situation in the furniture production industry at home and abroad.

Furniture in Harmony with Individual Human Needs

The international fair Furniture and Living is focused on the timeless design, use of new wood-based materials, new technologies in processing the wood materials and the use of new hardware and equipment, such as new types of fittings, electric drives, etc.

The exhibitors place great emphasis on the new use of lighting, individual ergonomic furniture solutions, minimizing the maintenance of equipment, apartment amenities and rational solutions for storage space.

The new products have a perfect design, the furniture is visually pleasing and friendly from the entrance into the house or apartment into the hall, kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom, dressing room, bathroom with toilet and sauna, to complete accessories including the cleaning chamber.
